🌿 Hike at Cúber Reservoir

The Cúber Reservoir is located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana and is one of the quieter places on Mallorca. No beach promenade, no cafés – instead, open spaces, mountains, and pure nature.

The circular path around the reservoir is easy to walk and leads directly along the water. New views of the surrounding mountains, the clear water, and the barren, almost pristine landscape constantly open up.

It is not a spectacular hiking trail in the classic sense – rather a relaxed circular route around the lake, which is also well suited for families with children. If you're lucky, you can admire wild goats, donkeys, and sheep in their natural environment. In the summer months, it's worth starting early, as there are only a few parking spaces that fill up quickly. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as there are few shaded spots and no refreshment stops. You can leave your swimwear at home, as swimming is strictly forbidden here!

If you want to cover a bit more distance, you can include the Gorg Blau – the "big brother" of the Cúber Reservoir. While there's no circular path directly along the water here, several hiking trails lead through the surrounding landscape, offering recurring views of the lake.
